Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Banksheet, including the website at banksheet.lk and the application at app.banksheet.lk. By creating an account, starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Banksheet is operated by LOOMOD (PVT) LTD, a private limited company registered in Sri Lanka under registration number PV 00264345 (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact: keshan@banksheet.lk.
2. The service
Banksheet is an online software service. It reads bank-statement PDFs (including scanned copies) and returns extracted, categorised transactions that you can export, for example as Excel or CSV. Banksheet is delivered digitally; no physical goods are shipped.
Banksheet is a productivity tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified accountant or licensed tax practitioner. You remain responsible for reviewing extracted data before filing, bookkeeping, or relying on it for any decision.
3. Accounts and free trial
You can try Banksheet free of charge by signing in at app.banksheet.lk. The free trial includes the page allowance shown on our Pricing page and does not require a payment card. A trial does not become a paid subscription unless you choose to buy one.
You must give accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Prices, payments, and subscriptions
- Current plans and prices are listed on our Pricing page. All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, charged in advance at the start of each billing period. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Each plan includes a monthly page allowance. Unused pages do not carry over to the next billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the outstanding amount is paid.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email before a price change affects your subscription.
5. Refunds and disputes
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Billing or service complaints are handled under our Dispute Policy. Both form part of these Terms.
6. Your content and bank statements
You retain all rights in the files and data you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide Banksheet to you.
You confirm that you have the right to upload the statements (for example, they are your statements, or you are authorised by the account holder or your client) and that uploading them does not violate bank terms, confidentiality duties, or applicable law. We may suspend processing if we reasonably believe Customer Data is unlawful or infringes others’ rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service or other users;
- reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law;
- use Banksheet to process data you have no right to process;
- misrepresent extracted output as audited or certified financial statements;
- resell the service without our written consent.
8. Intellectual property
LOOMOD (PVT) LTD and its licensors own Banksheet, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you other than the limited right to use the service while your access remains in force.
9. Accuracy and availability
Extraction quality depends on scan quality, layout, and bank format. We aim for high fidelity but do not guarantee that every date, amount, or category will be complete or correct. You must review outputs.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Sri Lanka, including liability for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Banksheet in that period.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify LOOMOD (PVT) LTD against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from Customer Data you upload or from your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
12. Termination
You may stop using Banksheet and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, liability, and governing law) continue to apply.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Security page describes how we protect Customer Data.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change is material and you have an active subscription, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Disputes that cannot be resolved under our Dispute Policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
