Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Banksheet, including the website at banksheet.lk. By requesting a demo, creating an account, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Banksheet is operated by LOOMOD LIMITED (trading as Loomod Ltd), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16715015. Registered office: Office 14575, 182–184 High Street North, East Ham, London, United Kingdom, E6 2JA. Contact: keshan@banksheet.lk.

2. The service

Banksheet reads scanned bank-statement PDFs and returns extracted, categorised transactions for export (for example CSV or Excel). Features, supported banks, and pricing may change. Descriptions on the website are informational and do not form a separate warranty beyond these Terms.

Banksheet is a productivity tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified accountant or licensed tax practitioner. You remain responsible for reviewing extracted data before filing, bookkeeping, or relying on it for any decision.

3. Demos and accounts

You can request a demo by emailing keshan@banksheet.lk. A demo does not create a paid subscription unless we agree otherwise in writing (including email).

If we issue you login credentials, you must keep them confidential and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

4. Your content and bank statements

You retain all rights in the files and data you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant Loomod Ltd a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide Banksheet to you.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the statements (for example, they are your statements, or you are authorised by the account holder or your client) and that uploading them does not violate bank terms, confidentiality duties, or applicable law.

Do not upload data you are not allowed to share. We may suspend processing if we reasonably believe Customer Data is unlawful or infringes others’ rights.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• probe, overload, or disrupt the service or other users;
• reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law;
• use Banksheet to process data you have no right to process;
• misrepresent extracted output as audited or certified financial statements;
• resell the service without our written consent.

6. Fees

Paid plans, if offered, are described on the website or in a written order. Fees are in the currency stated. Unless we say otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Unpaid amounts may lead to suspension after notice.

7. Intellectual property

Loomod Ltd and its licensors own Banksheet, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you other than the limited right to use the service while your access remains in force.

8. Accuracy and availability

Extraction quality depends on scan quality, layout, and bank format. We aim for high fidelity but do not guarantee that every date, amount, or category will be complete or correct. You must review outputs.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Banksheet in that period, or £100 if you have paid no fees.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify Loomod Ltd against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from Customer Data you upload or from your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

11. Termination

You may stop using Banksheet at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your licence to use the service ends. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, liability, and governing law) continue to apply.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Security page describes how we approach protection of Customer Data.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change is material and you have an active paid arrangement, we will try to notify you by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
